With all the speculations that Manny Pacquio would be defeated this time, oh well, better luck next time. With all respect to Barrera, he really prepared for the fight. Without KO, Barrera could still hold his head up high. But, not too much, of course.
Meanwhile, GMA turned the Pacquiao-Barrera fight a whole day event. Obviously, they grabbed the opportunity with hot fangs and just made the most out of it... 9.am to around 4 in the afternoon, other viewers already turned into mushrooms.
And could please someone teach Manny Pacquio our Philippine National Anthem? He was lip synching it, but still got all the words wrong. My friend had to suspect that he was humming his own song (Para sayo ang laban na 'to) while the Lupang Hinirang was on. Now, that's weird.
With all the boxing fights that Pacquiao had, we even expected that he has also memorized the Himno Nacional Mexicano by now. So, if he can't learn the Mexico's National Anthem, maybe he can learn ours, by heart.
Nevertheless, our congratulations Manny. You won again. Don't even dare go to Mexico alone.
